While driving home from church last night, I was frightened when I noticed a big, black dog standing in the road as I passed by. The following conversation with Paxton ensued:
Paxton: If we hit a deer, do we get to have it?
Me: I guess.
Paxton: And then we can make chicken out of it. But not the antlers. We can just keep the antlers.
Paxton calls every kind of meat chicken. He has this funny wit about him. Lately he has been asking all kinds of questions. And when I answer the question, he replies with another question. It can be exhausting but it's neat to see a glimpse of how his little mind works.
